International Museum Day 2020
Each year since 1977, ICOM has organised International Museum Day; on 18 May all around the world more and more museums participate in International Museum Day 2020 with the theme “Museums for Equality: Diversity and Inclusion” because museums are an important means of cultural exchange, enrichment of cultures and development of mutual understanding, cooperation and peace among peoples.
On the occasion of the International Museum Day 2020, ICOM Italia organizes a on line meeting about:
- Gender equality
- Equality in the workplace
- Climate justice
- Accessibility/Disability
- Discrimination (sexuality, ethnicity, gender)
in the meantime, Management and staff of the Rocca Roveresca are working to reopening the monument according to security measures to visit the museum safely.
