June 9, 2020 REOPENING

From May 18, the date established by ICOM as the International Museum Day 2020 and which decrees the end of the lockdown for Italian museum institutions, the Management and staff of the Rocca Roveresca have worked intensely on adapting the structure to the safety standards indicated by the Committee National Scientific Technician and to the operational measures provided by the General Directorate of Museums of MiBACT in view of the reopening to the public: it was necessary to have a thermoscanner for detecting body temperature, adjust the one-way visit route, prepare information panels with the indications of prevention and good practices to be observed during the visit, make personal protective equipment available to all, staff and users, and establish contingent access to the monument which provides for the entry of no more than 12 people on each floor, regulated in each room gives indications on the panels.

The fortress also has large open and airy spaces such as the access jetty, the courtyard and the terraces on the towers, for pleasant moments of escape!
